What the heck is "Zephemera" and how do you pronounce it?
Zephemera is a play on words that combines my love for the letter "Z" with the idea of ephemera, and is pronounced just like e•phem•er•a but starting with a Z, emphasis on the second syllable.
Ephemera has been defined simply as "printed matter of passing interest," similar to the term "ephemeral" which means transitory or passing in time. The term ephemera is also used in the world of printing and books to mean any printed piece that is about time, i.e, an invitation, a poster announcing a performance, a ticket stub, a postcard announcing an event, etc.
Invitations and announcements created by Zephemera will be kept and treasured, rather than tossed with the other ephemera of everyday life.
